After graduating from Virginia Tech ('99), P.J. returned to his family's row-crop farm in Virginia, which has grown soybeans, wheat, corn, barley, canola and more since 1867. In the 2010s, he expanded the family farming operations to the Arkansas Delta region where he fell in love with growing rice. He co-founded the Arkansas River Rice Mill in Pine Bluff, AR.
Today, he's cultivating the Haynies's legacy with Haynie Family Foods–a unique family brand of rice available to everyone.
